Welcome to the Shy Intimate Apparel site! The concept behind the Shy Collection came from my own lack of finding the perfect bra to wear underneath my favorite tops and dresses that wouldn’t take from the outfit. Over the years I’ve spent hundreds (yes, hundreds) on bras that had cups that you had to stick on to your breast, came with stickers, pasties or with crazy straps that didn’t fit around my not so small frame. After sleeping on this idea for several years I decided to pursue it.

Shy bras are designed for everyday wear but most importantly are great for backless shirts, dresses, formal wear or just any garment that may show some skin but you still want the support you would get from a traditional bra.

I decided to name the company after my brother Shyrome; he was my older brother that was a ladies man with an electric smile, and he was actually far from being Shy; yet it was only fitting that my lingerie line be connected to him. Sadly, he passed away in 2014, from complications due to pneumonia.
